His recent series are a paradigm shift to a cool\r\npalette, that is of great interest for him to \u2018see\u2019 and recreate the\r\nlandscapes skillfully, in his choice of colours. The Badami landscape\r\nwith rocks formations appear magical in nocturnal landscapes with\r\nhis watercolour renditions in sensorial frames. The \u2018play\u2019 with warm\r\nand cool colours pulsate through the nebulous sky and resonates\r\nthrough his visual imagery. He completed his MFA in Painting\r\nfrom Vijaya Fine Art College, Gadag, Dharwad University.\r\nHis creative journey began in the 7th Karnataka Kala Mela, and that\r\nwas the start of a successful creative journey. <br>\r\nAt the 59th National Exhibition of Art. Manjunath&#39;s painting was one\r\nof the 490 pieces selected from across 71 countries for the\r\nInternational Water Colour Society Biennale Exhibition, New Delhi.\r\nSome of his solo exhibitions to his credit are Nostalgia in Stone\r\n(series of Hampi watercolour) in Bangalore (2020), Folk-Phorescence\r\nat Vennba art gallery Chennai (2021) and Visual Narrative series of\r\nJodhpur blue city at MKF Museum of Art in Bangalore (2022).\r\nHis works have been displayed in Japan, UK, Singapore, Dubai and\r\nother countries. In 2013 and 2014 Manjunath received the Camlin\r\nAward Pan India. He won the Lokamanya Tilak National Award and\r\nthe 45th Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy Award. In 2019 he won the\r\nShenoy Art Foundation Emerging Artist Award for watercolour. <br>\r\nParticipation in several group shows include the Mahua Art Gallery,\r\nTaj West End, Sublime Art Gallery, Bangalore, Chitrakala Parishath\r\nand the Zolo Art Gallery in Mumbai.
